Neuropsychological Evaluation
Neuropsychological evaluation measures an individual's ability to engage in mental processes necessary for functioning in school and in daily life. Some of the reasons to consider Neuropsychological Evaluation are:
- Your child isn't making appropriate academic progress
- Your child can't focus attention at an age-appropriate level
- Identification of Learning Disabilities
- Qualification for Gifted Programs
- Qualification for Test Accommodations on College Board Examinations
- Early Entrance to Kindergarten
- Qualification for Services with the Department of Developmental Disabilities
- Independent School Evaluations
There are many neuropsychological assessment tools. Different problems suggest different approaches. A combination of assessment tools is usually the best way to identify the nature of the problems and determine the best solutions.
In our initial meeting, I will work with you to determine what assessment tools are appropriate.
